Now Blooming: Indian Chrysanthemum [?]

This yellow daisy-like flower is now blooming in several parts of the park: along the southern slope of the hill above the paved walkway along Spinnaker Way, on the south side of the parking circle, and along parts of the North Basin on the east side of the park.  After a fair amount of online searching, I’m guessing it’s Indian Chrysanthemum (chrysanthemum indicum) based on the narrow, elongated and spaced-out petals, the bulging yellow center, and the shape of the leaves. But I may be off base, as the sources say this plant is mainly found in China, and CalFlora, the compendium of California plants, does not list it as occurring here. So, you botanists out there, weigh in.
