These Plans are Crazy
Dear Mayor Arreguín and City Councilpersons,
I saw the map and plans for development of César Chávez Park.
Carrying out that project will cause the total destruction of the beautiful natural environment that the park is as it is presently. These plans are crazy. They would completely obliterate the haven for nature that the park provides countless species, and it would also destroy the pleasant environment for people to participate in walks, runs and cycling with friends and families in a beautiful, refreshing and peaceful milieu.
The park is currently a precious gem of the Bay. Such plans would completely destroy that. Why would anyone want to destroy that. Certainly no one in his or her right mind.
Please put an end to this Ill-conceived idea immediately.
