Photographer David Hauer snapped this pair of Snowy Egrets doing a pas de deux in the ebb tide on the North Basin. These birds frequently visit the park and delight the eye with their graceful movements. Little fish, however, may not be so delighted, as the Snowies seem to be able to see clearly in muddy waters and to snatch up inattentive vertebrates in a split second. With two birds teaming up, little fish had best practice strict social distancing.
