Sam’s Recent Park Pix

Photographer Sam Zuckerman, who last published in these pages in December 2020 with a photo of the rare Loggerhead Shrike, is back with a collection of five recent images taken in the park. They are the dramatically tinted Black Oystercatcher (top left), the Second Owl late in the afternoon with the shadow of a nearby stalk across its forehead, one of the Clark’s Grebes prowling the North Basin, the pretty American Pipit on the north side rocks, and the breathtaking White-tailed Kite on a tree near the eastern park entrance. These are great images; thank you for sharing, Sam.
