PowerPoint Gone

The City’s new website for the Berkeley Marina Area Specific Plan (BMASP) no longer lists the PowerPoint that proposed turning Cesar Chavez Park into an alleged revenue-producing entertainment and amusement circus.

The BMASP page is now here. But if you’re looking for the PowerPoint, you won’t find it anymore. That PowerPoint was dated March 16 2022. It’s the basis of the Op-ed that Berkeleyside published April 30. This slide show was available on the City’s old website. No more. Enter its URL and you get an error page. The new BMASP page doesn’t list it. March 16 2022 never happened. The PowerPoint is vanished. Disappeared.

Luckily I downloaded a copy while it was still available. I’ve posted it here, so you can view it and download it as you will.

I hope that means the City has abandoned the plan.
