The Golden Gate Audubon Society’s Blog “Golden Gate Birder” has just published a post about Cesar Chavez Park by Toni Mester. Mester, a long-time member of the Society, served until recently as a member of the City of Berkeley’s Parks and Waterfront Commission. Her blog post recounts a walk along the park’s perimeter trail, with special attention to the bird species that live in or visit the park at different times of the year. The blog post includes seven of my photographs, five of them from my book, From Trash to Treasure: The Splendors of Berkeley’s Cesar Chavez Park, and two new ones.
