Picking Up
The beautiful untended forested grove on the west side of the park is a place where Parks maintenance staff rarely ventures. They can’t be everywhere all the time. When a mess accumulates there — and this mess had been growing for several weeks — it’s up to park visitors to step in and lend a hand. That’s part of what Chavez Park Conservancy Members do. It takes almost no time, as this video shows:
