Owl Diary: Friday 1/4
A Clear, Sunny Day
On a clear, sunny day at noontime, the east owl again posted itself at the bottom of the brown construction slab that resembles a double-wide tombstone. The video twice catches the owl emerging from the rabbit hole at that location. Each time, you have to look hard to notice the bird emerging; its color scheme so closely matches the background.
The north owl at noontime seemed sleepy. It did swivel its head watchfully but with eyes at half mast, or less.
