New Memorial Bench
Park maintenance staff member Kevin Kierce last week installed a new memorial bench in the park. As the plaque indicates, it commemorates Susan P. Kwong, who died in Emeryville on August 25 2021 at age 69.
A web search turned up no further information on Ms. Kwong. I would be happy to post anything that family and friends would like to share with others who also love this park.
This bench is located along the curving path on the south side of the park, as shown by the pin in the map below:
