Kite Family

These photos by photographer John Davis document the start of a new family of White-tailed Kites. The pair appear to have chosen one of the tall cedars on the south side of the park as the site of their new nest. The female flew all the way to the north of the park to snatch a twig for nesting material. The male meanwhile has captured a vole for dinner.
