In Time for Easter

This Black-tailed Jackrabbit sat quietly a few feet off the paved path in the Nature Area, opposite the Burrowing Owl preserve. It munched on the ample greenery and paid this cameraman no attention. However, when it heard the bright voices of approaching small children, it quietly withdrew. Sorry, children, that’s what real wild bunnies will do. Survival instinct.
