Great Grabs Small

A Great Egret hunting in shallow water strikes out about five times out of six, in my observation. Here, a Great has a bit of success; it grabs a little fish, hardly four inches long. With just a squeeze of the beak or two, it’s down the hatch, and onward looking for more.
