Egrets Aplenty
This evening a low tide exposed a few yards of mud, and egrets were all over it. I saw no fewer than six Snowy Egrets, all of which appeared to be small and probably youngsters, plus two adult-looking Great Egrets in close proximity, all at the southern end of the North Basin, opposite the hotel.
