Double Rainbow
Today’s (Friday’s) afternoon rainstorms produced a spectacular set of rainbows visible from Cesar Chavez Park, for the handful of hardy souls present to witness it. “That’s the most beautiful rainbow I ever saw,” said a middle-aged man who was walking past me as I was shooting. At 3:22 pm there was even a partial double rainbow, see second photo below. Then for the better part of an hour the sun and the clouds played hide-and-go-seek without any rainfall. All that soaking left the grass a lush and vivid green (third pic).
