Weary of the rain, a pair of Double-Crested Cormorants took in the new sunshine near the northeast corner of the park late this morning.  One of them stood in the familiar posture of cormorants everywhere, stretching out its wings to dry and warm in the sun.  The other stretched its beak, maybe in anticipation of downing a large fish.  Cormorants are excellent divers.
