Ceanothus in Bloom

This Ceanothus has been attracting bumblebees for days now, and I’ve been trying to take a bumblebee photo there, with no luck.  It’s very hard — try it!  So, for the moment, I gave up, especially because it was too cold this morning for bumblebees to be out.  Instead, I’m publishing this picture of the plant.  Mt. Tamalpais in the background.  I’ve photographed this spot before — it’s a very romantic setting.  Sometimes not only this Ceanothus but its neighbor are both in bloom, and the rock rose below them as well, making for a little idyll.  Not today.  Maybe later.
