Calm waters
You rarely see a little rowboat like this one out on the Bay. They’re common in the Delta or on the rivers, but the Bay is usually too rough for them. This Sunday morning you’d think the Bay was a sheltered inland lake. Nary a ripple. Also out fishing was this pelican (wings outstretched above the left fishing rod). When the water is this calm, if you’re a bird you can probably see ten, twenty feet below the surface.
