A Glorious Bloom
Tucked in among the dark evergreens lining Spinnaker Way at the south border of the park is this flowering cherry tree, now in the full glory of its springtime bloom. I photograph it every year and I’ll keep photographing it as long as I can. The books say that flowering cherry trees don’t live very long, so we’ll see which one of us, the tree or the photographer, lives longer.
