Down on the rip-rap on the east side of the park, it’s not unusual to see a Willet or two or three. I once photographed eighteen of them there. Yesterday I thought that I had matched that record, again seeing a string of eighteen birds all in a row. But only seventeen of them were Willets. Can you spot the Marbled Godwit who was so charmed by the Willet fellowship that it joined in their midst, and blended right in (almost)?
