A Song Sparrow’s recital is not to be missed. This one perched on top of a bush, flew off from time to time, but came back and resumed the concert. It repeated the same tune several times, then changed to a different tune, and still another. I’m amazed at how high it can go, and I suspect it was trilling up in dog whistle range beyond human hearing. I recorded more but the wind picked up and wind noise overpowered the music, so this is a quickie. For an almost noise-free three-minute Song Sparrow recital I recorded in April 2015, don’t miss this morning concert post.
