As Rabbi Cooper predicted — not taking a chance, there — the day after the Autumn Equinox this year came the Harvest Moon. So called because farmers could work late and bring in their crops by its silvery light. As it first rose over the Berkeley hills, though, it was more orange than silvery. The silver came when it rose higher. Not many farmers left in Berkeley, anyway.
This happened on Sept. 23. I’m a bit late posting it. Apologies.
