Park Has Good Spirit

Musicians and other artists are, to my mind, special and honored visitors in the park.  They needn’t be virtuosi.  Just the fact of their being present and playing an instrument elevates the tone of the park. This musician sat in one of the grassy outcroppings on the north side of the park, bathed by the setting sun, playing so softly that I could barely hear him from the paved perimeter path.  As he told me in this brief video interview, his name is Bone, his instrument is an Andes flute, he’s not from the Andes but from China, and he comes often to the park to play because the park “has a good spirit.”
